Celebrate World Whiskey Day in March by delving in to the history of distilling, Brooklyn style. Starting at Green-Wood at the stunning Pierrepont memorial, you’ll learn about Hezekiah Beers Pierrepont and his early-19th century Downtown Brooklyn distillery.

Discover what made Pierrepont’s liquor different than ours, and how whiskey and gin were made 200 years ago. Then we’ll jump back to 2013 for a real treat – a tour and tasting at South Brooklyn’s own Breuckelen Distillery – making gin and whiskey on 19th Street since 2010.

$15 for members of the Historic Fund and $20 for nonmembers. Ticket price includes tour at both locations and tasting. Space is very limited so early reservations are recommended.
