Just after Green-Wood’s gates close to the public, enjoy the rare opportunity to explore the quiet beauty of the cemetery bathed in the golden light of the setting sun.
On this walking tour you’ll visit the graves of fascinating figures in New York history and American culture from the 19th and early 20th centuries, ending with a visit to the catacombs, which are normally closed to visitors.
Please bring a flashlight to light your way, Green-Wood is very dark at night. Comfortable footwear is recommended.
$20 for members of Green-Wood and BHS / $25 for nonmembers.
