In the Parlor: The Final Goodbye Film Screening
Take an intimate journey into the lives of three families who have chosen to claim their rightful and active role in caring for dying family members. Each seeks a more personal and fulfilling way to say goodbye.
The film challenges us to reflect on the experience of death, which is so often feared, denied, or left unspoken. Heidi Boucher, filmmaker and home death care guide for over thirty years, wrote, directed, and produced the film. A discussion will follow the screening with Amy Cunningham, Green-Wood’s death educator.
Presented as part of Reimagine End of Life, a community-wide exploration of death and celebration of life through creativity and conversation.
