Architects of Green-Wood Walking Tour
October 8, 2016, 1:00pm–3:00pm
Green-Wood boasts a spectacular collection of 19th-century architectural wonders by some of the most famed architects in American history. Designing works to immortalize their patrons, many –including James Renwick, Jacob Wrey Mould, and Gamaliel King, among others – have also established their own permanent residences here.
Part historical investigation, part homage, this tour highlights the critical role architects have played in transforming the landscapes of not only Green-Wood, but New York City.
$15 for members of Green-Wood and BHS/$20 for non-members.
