Green-Wood, a National Historic Landmark and great outdoor museum, is also a community of souls. Visiting Green-Wood’s monuments and memorials is a unique chance to relate our own modern lives to the shared struggles and joys of those who went before us. In this tour, led by Green-Wood’s Manager of Education & Outreach Steven Estroff, we‘ll hear behind-the-scenes stories of lives well-led, good ideas gone wrong and passions run amok. Tour-goers will also be introduced to the vast array of symbolism on 19th- and early 20th-century monuments.
$10 for Green-Wood Historic Fund members / $15 for non-members. Reservations strongly recommended. Click here to purchase tickets online.
