The Moth returns to Green-Wood! The much-beloved (and always sold out!) Moth Mainstages are curated events featuring five tellers who develop and shape their stories with The Moth’s directors.They celebrate the ability of stories to honor both the diversity and commonality of human experience, and to satisfy a vital human need for connection.

The Moth seeks to present recognized storytellers among established and emerging writers, performers, and artists and to encourage storytelling among communities whose stories often go unheard. Stories are true, as remembered by the storyteller, and always told live.
Green-Wood’s public programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, as well as the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
