Delve into the storied past of distilled spirits in Brooklyn with Green-Wood and our neighbors at Fort Hamilton Distillery. The experience begins with a trolley tour of the Cemetery to uncover the influential figures of the Revolutionary War and the distillers who left their mark on the early days of New York. Then, the trolley will take you to Fort Hamilton Distillery in Industry City where you can discover and taste the New World Gin that has NY history distilled into each bottle.

Price: $50, and $45 for members

You can sample the freshly distilled “white” rye, try whiskey straight from the barrel, learn about the ins and outs of barrel aging and hear the fascinating story of Rye Whiskey production in New York. The experience also includes a taste of their four whiskies and a sample of their Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup.

Fort Hamilton Distillery started barreling whiskey in 2016 when founder Alex Clark embarked on a mission to recapture America’s finest spirits. Based in Industry City, Brooklyn, and steps from the Cemetery, the distillery is surrounded by landmarks of the Revolutionary War, from which the whiskey maker draws his inspiration.
