This event has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Join us to Celebrate the opening of Adam Tendler’s Exit Strategy at the Fort Hamilton Gatehouse.

This new installation by Tendler, the Cemetery’s 2023-2024 artist in residence, interrogates the complex relationship between grief and personal identity. He creates an immersive environment that meditates on the ways we attach ourselves to memories and physical objects, and the possibilities for letting them go. Layering music, text, visuals, and found objects, this semi-autobiographical work includes notes, voice memos, and personal objects sourced from the local Green-Wood community.

Price: Free.
