8:15 p.m. Moonrise Walking Tour
Don’t forget your flashlight for this nocturnal tour led by Green-Wood historian Jeff Richman.
Night’s cloak of darkness will have already descended when the trek through Green-Wood begins. Watch the moon rise, illuminating Green-Wood’s winding paths and lighting the way to sculptures, tombstones and mausoleums.
Visit some of Green-Wood’s many illustrious permanent residents and end with a stroll inside the Catacombs, usually closed to the public. Live accordion music accompanies this unique experience of Green-Wood at night.
Walking tour: $15 for Green-Wood Historic Fund members / $20 for non-members. Reservations recommended.
