Join The Brooklyn Historical Society for a panel discussion of two of Brooklyn’s historic cemeteries — Green-Wood (which is a National Historic Landmark) and the Evergreens. The panel includes Green-Wood Cemetery President Rich Moylan and Evergreens Cemetery President Paul Grassi, as well as authors who have written definitive histories of each cemetery — Jeffrey Richman, author of “Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery: New York’s Buried Treasure”, and John Rousmaniere, author of “Green Oasis in Brooklyn: The Evergreens Cemetery 1849-2008”. The museum will remain open until 7pm. This program is open to the public and free with museum admission. Admission is always free for BHS members.
