A Tiffany Wonderland: Boston’s Ayer Mansion

September 23, 2021 , 6:00pm 7:00pm

Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) defined a generation of American design with elaborate interiors, intricate stained glass windows and lamps, and stunning household wares. Talk about being in demand! Tiffany Studios studio was the epitome of high society at the turn of the twentieth century. Despite this acclaim, only three of his residential designs survive intact. This is your opportunity to discover one of them, Ayer Mansion, in all its glory. Join Jeanne Pelletier, an independent consultant to the Campaign for the Ayer Mansion, and Green-Wood Historian Jeff Richman for this extraordinary behind-the-scenes look at this gem that graces Commonwealth Avenue in Boston.

$9 / $4 for members. A Zoom link will be emailed the day before the program.

This conversation is part of our series of virtual programs about the history of Green-Wood and its permanent residents, Zooming in on History.
