Green-Wood Cherry Tree, AMC Logo

In April, Green-Wood is a walker’s paradise. For the past four years, members of the Appalachian Mountain Club have toured through Green-Wood, marveling at our 150-year old trees, lakes, winding carriage paths and vistas. For the first time, we’re making this tour available to the general public. Led by Steven Estroff, Green-Wood’s Manager of Education & Outreach, you’ll visit Battle Hill, the highest natural point in Brooklyn with views of New York Harbor, and get to see and interpret the sites of such New York favorites as DeWitt Clinton, Leonard Bernstein and Henry Chadwick (“The Father of Baseball”).

$10 for Green-Wood Historic Fund members / $15 for non-members. Please note: This tour fills up quickly. Only 20 tickets available for non-AMC members and tickets must be purchased in advance. Click here to purchase tickets online.
