Saul Chernick

We are especially proud to present our Greenwood Heights neighbor and artist, Saul Chernick. With his unique ink-on-paper style, Chernick creates “zany, consummately skillful drawings” (The New York Times) with “the episodic and atmospheric feel of a gothic graphic novel.” Chernick, a big fan of Green-Wood who often strolls the grounds for inspiration, has created an extraordinary panorama of Green-Wood that measures 4 inches high by 34 feet long. During this program, Chernick will talk about his Green-Wood series, as well as other selected works.

Artist talk: free (suggested donation $5).
