On July 13, 1848, military men, political leaders and citizens gathered at Green-Wood for the interment of six officers who served in the New York Infantry during the Mexican-American War. Please join us for the unveiling of the bronzes that will mark the final resting place of these gallant officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. 
The Draft Riots of 1863 are one of the saddest chapters in New York City history. Many of the participants—both famous and unknown—are buried in Green-Wood. Join Green-Wood tour guide Ruth Edebohls to visit their final resting places and hear their stories.
