One of Rooftop’s most beloved and popular programs (for good reason!), New York Non-Fiction highlights the myriad quirky characters, hidden communities, and overlooked histories that make this city so special.
In the night’s lineup you’ll discover a city where dollar pizza shops line the streets, where delivery drivers are heroes of the night, where nuns live quietly on a Bronx hillside, where locksmiths pass their legacy through their profession.
New York has it all, and these nonfiction films tell the captivating stories of these perhaps underappreciated but nevertheless crucial groups that make New York one of a kind.
