There is a seemingly secret language etched upon Green-Wood’s monuments: inverted torches, bales of wheat, and hourglasses with wings. On this eye-opening walking tour, you’ll learn the meaning of these mysterious symbols from the nineteenth century that have been forgotten to time.
Please note: All walking tours traverse hilly and at times uneven terrain. Comfortable footwear is suggested.
Location: Check-in takes place in the meadow at the Main Entrance at Fifth Avenue and 25th Street. Look for signage.
