SUMMARY:Birding in Peace: Late-Risers Edition (Members Only)
DESCRIPTION:Photo Credit: Rob Jett\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you’ve always wanted to go on a birding tour at Green-Wood but aren’t much of a morning person\, this tour is for you! The early bird-er might get the worm\, but you can birdwatch at any hour. Join birding expert Rob Jett and a small group of fellow members to roam the grounds while hearing and seeing the many feathered friends of Green-Wood.   \n\n\n\nYou can expect to see different species on each tour. April brings blooming trees\, drumming woodpeckers\, migrating songbirds at rest\, and herons and egrets returning to Green-Wood’s glacial ponds. In May and June\, during peak migration\, you might spot ruby-throated hummingbirds or some of more than twenty species of vibrant wood warblers\, among other species. By August\, the songs of warblers give way to the buzz of cicadas and the calls of fledglings\, and we can expect the arrival of the first southbound migrants.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPrice: $15 for members\, $20 for non-member guests   \n\n\n\n\nGet Tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWalking Tour(see details below)\n\n\n\n\n\nBefore Purchasing Your Ticket\, Please Note: \n\n\n\n\nAttendees must follow ALL instructions and guidance from Cemetery staff and volunteers. \n\n\n\nTickets: There is no need to print tickets!
