As we create together in the comfort of Green-Wood’s Modern Chapel\, we’ll talk about the significance of handmade items in both our personal and collective histories.  \n\n\n\nBeginners can join our knitting and crochet tutorial groups\, while experienced crafters are encouraged to bring ongoing projects and mentor others. Feel free to bring your own yarn\, needles\, and hooks; some materials will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Not a knitter? Not to worry\, you can bring whatever other crafts you are working on. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPrice: Free. For species that migrate south after breeding\, Brooklyn is their Miami during the colder months.  \n\n\n\nLed by birding expert Rob Jett\, this winter tour offers the chance to spot waterfowl\, nuthatches\, woodpeckers\, sparrows\, finches\, and other birds that stick around for the season. By February\, you may even catch the first north-bound birds beginning to return. \n\n\n\n\n\nPrice: $20\, $16 for members \n\n\n\n\n\n\nGet Tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWalking Tour(see details below)\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease note that if only 1 ticket shows as available during the purchase process that is the last ticket available. \n\n\n\nBefore Purchasing A Ticket\, Please Note:\n\n\n\n\nTickets: There is no need to print tickets! The early bird-er might get the worm\, but you can birdwatch at any hour. Join birding expert Rob Jett and a small group of fellow members to roam the grounds while hearing and seeing the many feathered friends of Green-Wood.  \n\n\n\nWinter at Green-Wood brings plenty of opportunities for birdwatching\, with fascinating species to spot even in the colder months. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPrice: $15 for members\, $20 for non-member guests \n\n\n\n\nGet Tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn-Person Event(see details below)\n\n\n\n\n\nFor some migratory birds\, Brooklyn serves as their warm-weather getaway during winter.
