DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, January 30\, 2011\nSaul Chernick\nWe are especially proud to present our Greenwood Heights neighbor and artist\, Saul Chernick. With his unique ink-on-paper style\, Chernick creates “zany\, consummately skillful drawings” (The New York Times) with “the episodic and atmospheric feel of a gothic graphic novel.” Chernick\, a big fan of Green-Wood who often strolls the grounds for inspiration\, has created an extraordinary panorama of Green-Wood that measures 4 inches high by 34 feet long. During this program\, Chernick will talk about his Green-Wood series\, as well as other selected works. \nArtist talk: free (suggested donation $5).\nReservations recommended (click here to place a reservation online).
