DESCRIPTION: \n \nFollow veteran Green-Wood tour guide Ruth Edebohls to the less-seen southern side of the cemetery\, where monuments and mausoleums have many fascinating stories to tell.  \nHear the stories of the Park Slope plane crash of 1960\, “Truth Seeker” D. M. Bennett\, a Russian prince\, gangsters Joey Gallo and Albert Anastasia\, lyricist Fred Ebb\, an early Richard Upjohn mausoleum\, several artists\, the generation-spanning Cutter family from a Civil War general to a 20th-century U.S. senator\, and more. Walk may be hilly and strenuous — wear good walking shoes.  \nWalking tour: $10 for members of The Green-Wood Historic Fund / $15 for non-members.
