DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for the last Saturday of every month! May through November\, the Green-House hosts free\, drop-in activities for all ages\, featuring two hands-on ways to explore the art\, history\, and nature of Green-Wood. Design a monument\, investigate a nature discovery table\, record your family history\, or create a painted masterpiece. Each gathering offers something different\, but the goal remains the same: to spark curiosity and help families connect with each other and the Cemetery.   \n\n\n\n\n\nPrice: Free \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn-Person Event(see details below)\n\n\n\n\n\nCheck back regularly as we’ll add more seasonal themes throughout the year. Here’s what we have lined up so far:  \n\n\n\nMay 30th – Explore art and nature activities inspired by artist Jean Shin’s earthwork Offering in Green-Wood’s Main Entrance Meadow and Celadon Landscape installation in the Green House.  \n\n\n\nJune 27th – Happy Pride and Caribbean Heritage Month! Celebrate Green-Wood residents Jean-Michel Basquiat\, Emma Stebbins\, and Paul Jabara through collaborative art projects.  \n\n\n\nKnow Before You Go:\n\n\n\n\nTickets: No registration required. Drop in and join us. Seating and activities are first come\, first served. \n\n\n\nAll ages\, recommended for 5+ and caregivers. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. \n\n\n\nWhere To Go: This program takes place at the Green-House (750 Fifth Avenue)\, near the Main Entrance on Fifth Avenue and 25th Street.  \n\n\n\nAccessibility & Safety: The Green-House is ADA-accessible. Walk in the footsteps of George Washington and his troops during the Battle of Brooklyn; visit the grave of Jean-Michel Basquiat\, one of America’s greatest artists; and discover so much more!  \n\n\n\n\n\nPrice: $30\, $24 for members \n\n\n\n\n\n\nGet Tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTrolley Tour(see details below)\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease note that if only 1 ticket shows as available during the purchase process that is the last ticket available. \n\n\n\nBefore Purchasing A Ticket\, Please Note:\n\n\n\n\nTickets: There is no need to print tickets! Attendees will be checked in by name.\n\n\n\nWhere To Go: Check-in takes place at the trolley by the Gothic Arch near the Main Entrance at Fifth Avenue and 25th Street (500 25th Street).\n\n\n\nAccessibility & Safety: The Green-Wood trolley is wheelchair-accessible and ADA compliant. However\, please note that some stops where you may get off the trolley are not ADA accessible. Before reserving tickets\, we encourage visitors to contact our staff with any questions regarding accommodations and accessibility for trolley tours. In order to accommodate a wheelchair or other mobility aid on the trolley\, arrangements must be made in advance.
