Battle of Brooklyn Commemoration 2009

Another well attended Battle of Brooklyn Commemoration at Green-Wood on Sunday, August 30, 2009. The beautiful day had a procession of events highlighting the 233rd anniversary, including cannon and musket demonstrations, a historic trolley tour, a march to Battle Hill and reading of the Declaration of Independence next to the Altar to Liberty.
