November 2009 Dear Friend of The Green-Wood Historic Fund, Over the past year, as a result of new and continued memberships and donations of all sizes, The Green-Wood Historic Fund was able to add exciting new cultural and educational programs to its ongoing lineup of tours, talks, events and partnerships. Support from Green-Wood enthusiasts like you also enabled The Historic Fund, despite continued difficult economic times, to continue its mission to maintain Green-Wood Cemetery’s monuments and buildings of historical, cultural and architectural significance, and to preserve the natural beauty of one of New York City’s first green spaces.
